“In Harmony with Nature”
Sustainable Cultivation, Thoughtful Stewardship
At Burka Coffee Estates, we practice traditional agroforestry, growing coffee under the natural canopy of indigenous shade trees. We are dedicated to maintaining a careful balance between cultivated land and preserved natural areas. Staff housing and village infrastructure offer safe, supportive living environments, while forests, grasslands, and non-arable zones are protected to sustain local biodiversity. By aligning ecological integrity with social responsibility, we consistently deliver premium-quality coffee that meets the highest standards of global buyers and roasters.

Since our founding, we’ve preserved a 118-hectare indigenous forest around the Burka springs—home to diverse wildlife including bushbuck, dik-dik, jackals, and aardvarks. This thriving ecosystem coexists peacefully with our coffee fields, reflecting our deep respect for the environment.
We also enhance ecological balance by gradually replacing non-native trees with indigenous species. Through these efforts, we remain committed to protecting biodiversity while producing exceptional, sustainably grown Arabica coffee.
